Gifted is a proposed online business venture that allows users to store 'gift lists' for friends and family to then use to purchase wanted gifts for specific and various occasions.
It will allow users to shop through the site and offer up a price comparison aspect for finding the cheapest available price for each gift.
When developing a logo for this project
I was looking to relate to the concept of gift wrapping, which eventually led me to origami.
After studying origami and experimenting with folding my own lettering, I found their form to be made of geometric shapes. I then developed a typeface based on this finding and used different tones of colour to not only represent the geometric nature but also reflect the actual folds.
